1. Data we collect

When you sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication), we receive your email address, display name and account identifier (UID) from Google. When you use the service, we store the video titles you enter, the AI-generated scripts, and the resulting video files (stored in Firestore and Google Cloud Storage).

2. How we use your data

We use this data to authenticate your account, create and store the videos you request, show your video history, and count the number of videos you have created each month in order to apply the free quota.

3. Sharing with third parties

We share data with third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the service:

• Google Cloud / Vertex AI (Gemini, Veo, Gemini TTS): processes your titles and scripts to generate video content.
• Pexels API (when b-roll visual mode is used): receives only search keywords derived from the script — none of your personal data is sent.

We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising purposes.

4. Cookies and tracking

TopicVid currently does not use Google Analytics or any tracking/advertising tools. Firebase Authentication stores a sign-in token in your browser to keep you signed in.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained while your account remains active. TopicVid does not yet offer in-app account/data deletion — if you would like your data deleted, please contact the email below and we will process the request manually.

6. Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firestore, Google Cloud Storage) and protected by Firebase Authentication.

7. Children

The service is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect data from, users under 13 years of age.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, or deletion of, your personal data by contacting the email below.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The most recent update date is shown at the top of this page.
